Our custom built 7.5m Senator fishing boat caters for 6 anglers plus skipper + crew, complete with onboard flush toilet and kitchen where, dependant on the charter you choose, your lunch will be prepared - the ocean permitting, fresh fish flapping one moment and on your lunch plate the next. The vessel is fully equipped with life jackets and the latest safety equipment.
Why Worry? ... Mark (Your Skipper) will give you all and any assistance you need from techniques, to baiting your hook (so no need to worry about stinky bait on your hands) and taking your fish off the hooks. For those who have never given it a go ... fishing is awesome fun and we offer a range of options and special accommodation packages for an enjoyable day of fishing ...
INSHORE SNAPPER FISHING
HALF DAY FISHING, 4 HOURS.
1. NO FRILLS: $300 Minimum boat charge. for up to 5 people, $60/extra passenger. You bring your own rods, tackle, ice and bait etc.
2. ALL INCLUSIVE: $360 Minimum boat charge for up to 4 people. $90/extra passenger. This includes all the rod and tackle hire. As much bait as required plus tea and coffee or a cold drink.
FULL DAY FISHING. 8 HOURS.
1. NO FRILLS: $500 Minimum boat charge for up to 4 people. $125/extra passenger. We will hunt the surrounding islands and known fishing grounds in search of fish but you have to catch them. You bring all your own rods, tackle, bait, food etc. We will have extra bait available for purchase on board if you require.
2. ALL INCLUSIVE: $720 Minimum boat charge for up to 4 people. $180/extra passenger. We will fish the islands and known inshore fishing spots but if required we will go further afield to find the fish. For an additional fuel surcharge ($180) I will take you to the very top of the peninsula and Channel Island. All rod and tackle hire included and as much bait as required. You will be supplied with lunch, usually cooked on board (either fresh snapper straight from the sea or sausages, bread and salad) home baking and as much tea and coffee or cold refreshments as you want.
We can provided extra services such as charter lengths, distances, species targeting, dredging during seasons etc. Just enquire and we will work out the best option for your requirements. An Additional fuel surcharge may apply.
BARRIER REEF FISHING
Trips to the Barrier reef are available on request.
SIGHTSEEING TRIPS
$100/hour for up to 8 people - enjoy a leisurely cruise around the many islands and bays in the Coromandel Peninsula - view the natural rugged landscape as you would never normally see it - hopefully get to watch the dolphins play and enjoy the vast bird life of the Coromandel Coastline. We can custom design a package for your fishing trip, sightseeing, special group or occasion.
BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL AND A MINIMUM OF 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED UPON CONFIRMATION. THE DEPOSIT IS FULLY REFUNABLE IF THE CHARTER IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS OR MORE THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. IF CANCELLATION IS WITHIN 48 HOURS THERE WILL BE NO REFUND. CHARTERS ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO THE WEATHER
